My wife and I have been sleeping on a Sleep Studio ViscO2 topper, the king size, three inch version. We are liking it quite a bit and will probably just leave it on the bed until we test another topper.
In the meantime, we are really liking this one. It’s a lot more comfortable than we thought it was going to be. It added a very nice layer of cushion to the top of our mattress.
One thing that we were worried about is that it would slide around on the top of the bed, making us have to adjust it frequently. This never happens. It’s stayed in place very well. I think that is because it is a pretty dense and heavy material. It lays on the top of the bed with a decent amount of heft. So it doesn’t slide around much, if at all. We haven’t noticed that it’s moved since we put it on the bed.
Also, we had been concerned that it might be too warm to sleep on. We have heard that memory foam can sleep hot. But that is also not the case. I haven’t notice any difference in warmth or temperature compared to not using this topper on the mattress.
The thing that I really like about it is that I sink in very comfortably when laying on the bed. And it also lessens many of the typical pressure points I have issues with on our mattress. I don’t toss and turn much anymore. It’s kind of nice.
Since I sink in to the mattress topper a bit, I also don’t use two pillows anymore. I only seem to need to use one pillow to gain a comfortable position for my head. At least I’m pretty sure this is because I’m sinking into the bed more now that I have the topper than before I had the topper.
